Sylvia Renee Lacey Robertson Sunrise February 15, 1962 – Sunset November 28, 2015 Remember Me from the day I was born on February 15, 1962, the only child to Juanita Lacey and the late Samuel Hunley in Cincinnati, Ohio and raised by Tom Turk Remember Me as a mother Leaving to cherish my loving daughters Lanita Marie Dykes and Shauntia Dykes-Edwards (Tremayne). Remember Me as a granddaughter to Sadie Dean Remember Me as a grandmother Being a only child I was blessed with five grandchildren. Sylvia Renee Philpot, Denver R. Howard, Dakota R. Howard, Tremayne Edwards, Jr. and Trey'Shaun L. Edwards. Remember me as a wife United in holy matrimony to Jerome Robertson. Remember me as a sister Five sisters Charlotte Hunley, Charlene Hunley-Lasley, Carolyn Hunley of Cincinnati, Ohio and Michelle Hunley who preceded her in death. One sister in-law Barbra Robertson. Five brothers Kimarlon L. Thomas, Samuel HunleyJr, Jonathan Hunley, Kenji Hunley of Cincinnati, Ohio and Kimarlon A Wallace and William Hunley who preceded her in death. Remember me as a spiritual sister to Michael Clemons, Harvey Milford, Christopher "Boo" Crossty, Mort Moore, Julia Waller of Cincinnati, Ohio and Andrea "Poola" who proceeded her in death. Last but not least Remember me as An only child that attended Samuel Ach middle school and later went on to graduate from Woodward High School. She was very family orientated. She enjoyed the spicy things in life including shopping, bingo, and the casino. One thing she strived to be exceptional at was being a wonderful mother, and passionate grandmother. Later on in life on March 18, 2011 she dedicated her life to the Lord at Corinthian Baptist Church. As she walked down that new path she showed God was present in her life. She made it her business to encourage others in a positive manner. She truly will be missed by us all. Her church was a place that comforted her, especially the Food Ministry Department. SHE COULD MAKE A MEAN MAC & CHEESE……….. Visitation 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 5, 2015, at Corinthian Baptist church, 772 Whittier Street, Cincinnati (45229). The service will immediately follow the visitation and will begin at 12 noon. Pastor K. Z. Smith will officiate. Pallbearers: Michael Clemons, Kimarlon Thomas, Mort Moore, Ron Staples, Christopher Crossty, Theodore Currie, Marcus Dykes. Honorary Pallbearers: Tremayne Edwards Jr., Treymayne Edwards Sr., Harvey Milford, Kimarlon Wallace, Christopher Crossty, Theodore Currie, Trey'Shaun Edwards. Flower Bearers: Granddaughters, Sylvia Philpot, Denver Howard, Dakota Howard.
