IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sylvia
Eulitt
March 20, 1939 – July 4, 2023
Sylvia Eulitt, 84, of Covington, Kentucky died on July 4, 2023, from natural causes surrounded by her family, those who loved her the most.
Sylvia was born in Barnett, England in March of 1939. She spent most of her formative years in Donegal, Ireland during World War II, later moving to Toronto, Canada with her family. After the death of her mother, Kathleen Meehan, she moved to the United States and settled in New York City.
Sylvia was an avid runner and swimmer throughout her life. She won several medals, and would often run across the Brooklyn Bridge to work in Manhattan at Chase Manhattan Bank.
While working in Jamaica, West Indies, Sylvia met the love of her life, George Eulitt. They were married in Montego Bay in December of 1967. Years later, she returned to NYC and then eventually relocated to Miami to work for Barnett Bank.
Her entrepreneurial spirit inspired her to create the Overseas Executive Service, Inc., which led her to work for PanAm and Delta Airlines. She had a deep passion for art, culture and travel, visiting countries on all 7 continents. Paris was her favorite city of all. She shared her love of the world with her family and friends. Sylvia especially treasured her yearly adventures with her "darling Danny". These shared mother-daughter experiences helped create a loving bond which inspired a deep desire to pursue new and creative endeavors together.
While small in stature, Sylvia's presence filled the room. Her chic sense of style and dynamic personality endeared her to many. She will be greatly missed.
Sylvia is preceded in death by her beloved husband, George Eulitt.
She is survived by her daughter Danielle Eulitt, her stepson Steve Eulitt, her sister Patricia Kopf (Dieter Kopf), and nephews, Dieter and Keith Kopf.
Sylvia selflessly bequeathed her remains to science at the University of Cincinnati Medical School.
