Sylvester Williams, age 47, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 in Blue Ash, Ohio. He was born December 1, 1968, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Sylvester Williams was born to parents Della Mae Williams and Samuel Williams, Jr. in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 1, 1968. On Wednesday, April 13, 2016, Sylvester went home to be with Jesus, his Lord and Savior, where he was reunited with his parents, two siblings, Elize and David, and an aunt, Mrs. Rosella Lewis. At an early age, Sylvester was saved and baptized into The Body of Christ in the Baptist Church. A loving brother and wonderful uncle to many nieces and nephews, Sylvester became a Social Security Guard in recent years. He cared for the elderly. While still in his teens, he began cooking homemade food, which everyone around him loved. Sylvester loved his family. He had many brothers and sisters. Left to cherish his memory are his sisters Lillie (Doris) Catching, Rose Mae, Diane, Dorothy, and Patricia Williams. His surviving brothers are Sam, Joseph, Ernest, Eugeane, Edward, Bobby, Joe Nathan and McDonald Williams, and Jermane and Treymane Watson. His sister-in-law, Cheryl Williams, and a host of nieces and nephews and many friends will miss Sylvester on this side of eternity. Farewell and rest in peace to a true Christian soldier and brother. Visitation is from 930am am until 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at the Union Baptist Church, 405 W. Seventh Street, Cincinnati (45203). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Walnut Hills Cemetery, 3117 Victory Parkway, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206.
