Sylvester, "Junie" was the youngest of five children born on January 1, 1959 in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Sylvester Rawls, Jr. left us on July 30, 2020 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by our parents Sylvester and Thelma Rawls.

He  spent each summer enjoying camping in Covington, Kentucky. He was also active in many activities like bowling at the Breyer School and the Beckman Adult Center. One of his teachers expressed what a joy he was to have at Beckman each day.

He was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals. He collected souvenirs and other memorabilia from family and friends on their travels. He loved his classic television channels especially westerns.

Leaving to cherish Junie's memory are his siblings Carolyn and Linda, Marvin and Michael; nieces Matika and Tamika and nephews Juan, Jamaal, and Mikelo. Along with a host of aunts, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Your  life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.

The graveside service will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45232.
