Suzette Evans was born November 17, 1962 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Arthur Evans and Mabel (Smith) Evans. She was second of three born to this union. She departed this life to be with her Heavenly Father on October 13, 2014 at the University of Cincinnati Hospital. She was surrounded by her loving family. At an early age, Suzette accepted Christ at St. Simon Apostle Catholic Church. Her love for Christ was demonstrated through everyone she met. Suzette was baptized in 1963. She later joined Springdale Nazarene Church where she also attended Bible study. In her childhood, Suzette attended St. Marin de Porres Elementary School. Suzette continued her education at Lincoln Heights and graduated from Princeton High School in 1981. Suzette was selected out of many to attend a trip to the Bahamas. Suzette had an interest at one time of becoming a Stewardess. She also loved to care for children so she became a home care provider for nine years, then took a break from caring for children and began providing great customer service to customers at Wal-Mart. Suzette liked all sports, but always had a genuine passion for avid bowling. She was also the captain of her soccer team and led them to the championship. She took a liking for softball and being score keeper on various teams. Suzette touched the lives of many people and kept a smile on her face. She encouraged everyone while maintaining her motherly duties for her children. She became a mother figure to just about everyone she came in contact with. Suzette was preceded in death by her father Arthur Evans, Sr., her husband Aaron Tobias Cumberlander and her son Rodney Evans. Suzette leaved to cherish her memory; her mother, Mabel Evans; her brothers, Arthur Evans, Jr. and Jonathan Evans; her son Michael Evans; Godson Darris Avery; daughters, Staci Evans, Amber Yisrael and Eboni Evans; nephews, Chris Elliott, Juwan Evans, Dwayne Curry and Armon Evans; nieces Cortney Elliott, Lynn Elliott, Tia Evans, Khila Fields, Angelique Evans, Morgan Vaughn and Krista Cottingham; great nieces, Amyiah Richey, Tamauri Elliott, Ja'Milah Evans and Mah'liyah Elliott; great nephew, Benjamin Elliott. She also leaves her grandchildren, Tytiaunna Rogers, Courtney Rogers, April Evans-Rogers, Rayshawn Evans-Rogers, Giovani Evans-Rogers, Rodney Mackey, Az'Jah Mackey-Evans, Justice Evans, and Serenity Thomas and three of her dearest friends, Debra Bronston, Cindy Allen and Karen Burton; her closest cousin Anthony Keeling and a very special friend Edmond Jones along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
