Susan T. Fassett, 48, of Poughkeepsie, NY, died Thursday, October 28, 1999 in Pleasant Valley, NY. She was the wife of John Fassett. Born in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. February 26, 1951, she was a daughter of William F. Taber. Mrs. Fassett was a Personnel Coordinator for the Town of Poughkeepsie, NY since 1985. She was a member of the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church and the Pleasant Valley Methodist Church Choir. In addition to her husband of 24 years, Mrs. Fassett is survived by her mother, of Pawling, N.Y.; her sons, of Poughkeepsie, NY; her mother-in-law, of Daytona Beach, FA; her sister-in-law, of Rhinebeck, NY.; and her sister, of New Windsor, NY. After leaving her house on an October night in 1999, smiling, telling her son she'd see him later, Susan drove to choir practice at Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church. As Susan was getting into her car she was shot several times. Some time later, 48-year-old Susan died. Susan was a victim of murderes Fred Andros and Dawn Silvernail.
