Stonewall Paige July 26, 1936 - July 20, 2023

Stonewall Paige, age 86, passed peacefully on Thursday, July 20, 2023.  He was born on July 26, 1936, in Greensboro, Alabama.

Stonewall proudly served in the Army, retired from the United States Post Office after 34 years of service as a Mail Handler, and was an entrepreneur, owning Neptune Janitorial Service for seven years. Stonewall was also a Prince Hall Master Mason Third Degree.

Stonewall was preceded in death by his parents: Willie James Paige and Melnea Paige [Waller]; siblings: Bob Cannon, Joshua Paige, Bill Paige, and Melvin Paige; son, Duane Paige; granddaughter Kelly Black and grandson Terez Richardson.

He leaves behind his loving and devoted wife of 65 years, Hattie Paige; children: Wilbert Paige, Michael Paige, Melantha Paige, and Melnea Paige [Deanna Evans]; grandchildren: Yolanda, Mia, Kiara, Jonathan, and Tanisha; great-grandchildren: June and Jaxson; sister, Georgia Paige [Woods];  as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Stonewall will always be remembered for his love of his family, fishing, and gardening. Stonewall was also a beloved member of New Life Missionary Baptist Church.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Friday, July 28, 2023, at the New Life Baptist Church, 6434 Simpson Avenue, Cincinnati  (45224).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Crown Hill Memorial Park & Mausoleum, 11825 Pippin Road, Colerain Township, Ohio 45231.
