Steven Glenn Wright was born on May 20th, 1961, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Doris Jean Wright and Louis James Couston.

He grew up in downtown Cincinnati where he attended Porter Jr. High School and Taft High School.

He enjoyed making people laugh.  He never met a stranger.  He loved taking chances and never missed an opportunity to have things his way.  That's why we called him our ghetto Frank Sinatra. He was always happy and loved telling his jokes.  Also, he had a passion for telling his stories and talking about life in general.  Steven was known for letting people know what was on his mind and how he felt about life's different situations.  Steven had many talents, he excelled in home cooked meals.  He will always be remembered for the impact he made on our lives.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Jean Wright; father, Lous James Couston; sister, Marilyn McEwen and brothers, Allen Wright and Richard Hill

On December 7, 2023, at U. C. Health Steven went to his heavenly home.

Steven leaves his memories to be cherished by four daughters, Latrasha Brooks, Crystal Porter, Shannon Hightower and Tequila Brown; four sons, William Porter, Lavoris Hightower, Steven Hightower and Kevin Hightower; stepdaughter, Unika Hightower; sisters, Sharon Wright, Debbie Wright and Lenise Wright; brothers, Lavelle Wright and Kenneth Hill, 31 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter; best friends, Michael Adkins and Germaine Britten, special friend, Latosha Jones and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation is from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, on  Thursday, December 28, 2023, at the Walker Event Center, 3939 Reading Road (Corner of Reading and Paddock), Cincinnati  (45229).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 3:00 pm.
