It is with profound sadness we announce the heavenly transition of Steven Edward Hutzel, age 72, of Cincinnati, Ohio,  who passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 6, 2025, in Cincinnati, OH. He was born on Thursday, July 17, 1952, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He was born July 17,1952 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Ralph J. and Virginia ( Johnson) Hutzel. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Ralph J and Virigina (nee Johnson) Hutzel and sister, Geri Gray.

Steve enjoyed camping, dancing, and music. He was a painter, wallpaper hanger, woodworker. He loved making furniture for his family and friends.

He is survived by: children, Elizabeth and Teresa; brothers, David (Barbara), Barry (Sharon) and Kevin (Connie) Hutzel, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A memorial gathering will take place, Saturday, May 10, 2025 from 12:00 pm -3:00 pm at Haffey Fieldhouse, 1599 West St., Reading, Ohio.

Memorial Contributions in Steves honor may be made to St. Peter and Paul Academy, 231 Clark Road, Reading, Ohio 45215,  VYO, 1506 Riesenberg Lane, Reading, Ohio 45215 or the Down's Syndrome Association.

No funeral or memorial service is immediately planned.  The family will notify loved ones in the future when a service is scheduled.
