IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Steven Todd
Clark
July 2, 1969 – October 17, 2015
Steven Todd Clark was born on July 2, 1969, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He entered into eternal life on Saturday October 17, 2015 at Georgetown University Hospital. Steve graduated from Walnut Hills High School in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1987. After graduating, he proudly served in the United States Navy as a submarine Sonar Technician on the ballistic missile submarine USS VON STEUBEN in Charleston, SC. During his shore tour at the Pentagon, he met his lovely wife, Fabiola who was attending Howard University. After nine years of service in the Navy, he was honorably discharged and decided to continue his education at "The Great" Central State University; graduating with a degree in finance. He enjoyed 13 years of a wonderful career as a contract specialist for the Department of the Army. Anyone who knew Steve will tell you about his infectious sense of humor, love of sports and a friendly debate. In his teen and young adult years, if you needed to find Steve, all you had to do is go to the local basketball court. While he always had these passions, his love for family and friends was even greater. Steve and Fabiola later reunited in 2000 and he married the one he lovingly called his Pretty Lady on August 31, 2002. Clark was her knight and shining armor and Faby, the love of his life. Through their union they had two children, Leah Sanai and Gerald Vincent. Steve loved his children and dedicated all of his time to them. He and Leah had regularly scheduled Saturday morning cartoon dates. Steve could tell you all about the latest cartoons as well as sing the jingles that accompanied them. It was common place to find him and Gerald rolling around on the living room floor in the evenings. To say Steve loved his mother is an understatement. His mother was his angel on earth. The closeness and bond they shared was like no other. He always knew just what to say to make her smile. The many laughs and jokes they shared are memories that will last forever. He leaves behind his beautiful wife of 13 years, Fabiola-Armand Clark; his loving children, Leah and Gerald; his parents, Mary and Vince Rutledge; a loving mother-in-law, Marie Armand; two brother-in-laws Samuel Armand and Emmanuel Armand; a loving Aunt Joyce Freeman; three brothers Brandon Rutledge, Rodney Carter (Dana) and Donnie Carter (Stacey); two sisters Kimberly Bibbs and Cristal Bibbs and Step-Brother Vince Rutledge Jr. (Laverne) and Step-Sister Rebecka Fisher (Ed) and a host of other nieces, nephews, loving relatives and friends.
