Tribute To Spence G. Lawrence October 5, 1946 - April 5, 2016 Spencer G. Lawrence born October 5, 1948, in Westmoreland, Jamaica, to Stanley Lawrence and Beatrice Lawrence. He passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He leaves his sister, Polly Edwards and her husband, Randolph, and a sister and a brother in Jamaica. Spencer had many nieces, nephews, and friends. He hoped to visit his niece Donna in sunny Arizona one day. Spencer was a very hard worker, and he was known for always being on time. He worked at the Omni Hotel in Cincinnati over 15 years, and Bethesda North Hospital for 18 years. He enjoyed playing dominoes, drinking beer with friends, and listening to Jamaican reggae music. He loved to cook chicken soup and fish. He was a very financially responsible person, but he did not squander his money. He was a perpetual saver. He believed in the Good Lord, and we all hope Spencer finds eternal happiness in heaven. Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Saturday, April 16, 2016, at the Walker - Mt. Healthy Chapel , 7272 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy (45231). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am.
