Signora Thompson was born on July 11, 1929 in Hazard County, Kentucky to the late Ben Thomas and late Nannie Mae Holly. She was the only child from this union. Her Step-father, Ulysses Hamilton, who preceded her in death, played a pivotal role in her rearing. Signora attended Stow School in Cincinnati, Ohio and attended St. Joseph Catholic Church. While in Cincinnati, Signora married Earl Nelson Thompson, who preceded her in death. They parented five children. She was a very loving and kind mother to her children. Signora loved to read, sew, cook and listen to music. Most importantly, she believed in our Lord and taught her children the word. She had a very giving spirit and would often help people in their time of need. Signora Thompson was called home on May 20, 2015 at Woods Edge Point Assisted Living Facility, where she was loved by the staff members. Her loving memories will be cherished by her daughter Elaine Thompson, son Allan (Vivian) Thompson, daughters Cheryl Jean Thompson, Joann Thompson, and son David Wayne Thompson all of Cincinnati, Ohio. Grand Children Kenneth (Sylvia)Thompson, Sadrina (Keenan) Thurmond, and Lachelle Thompson all of Ypsilanti, Michigan, Robert Thompson of Auburn, Maine, Regina Thompson , Ronald Seniours, of Cinicinnati Ohio, Jermaine (Kimberly) Thompson of Harrisburg Pennsylvania , Donti Thompson, LaShamour Thompson, Angelo Thompson, Gwenora Thompson, and Gregory Thompson of Cincinnati, Ohio, Kelly Thompson of Florida, Daniel Thompson and Allison Thompson of Cincinnati Ohio. She is also survived by 22 great- grandchildren, 6 great great -grand children and a host of relatives and friends.
