Shonda Louise Garr was born January 30, 1982, to the union of Rosalind Mack and Kevin Douglas Garr in Cincinnati, Ohio. shonda was the second oldest child of three. She resided in Cincinnati, Ohio from birth until age 23, when she moved to Covington, Kentucky. Shonda attended Western Hills High School until eleventh grade. She obtained her GED and began working on a Criminal Justice Degree from South Western College. This is when she began to have epileptic seizures. All who knew Shonda will say that she was a fun person, liked to laugh, smile and crack jokes. She was very comedic but so sweet; she had a heart of gold. Shonda will be missed but her legacy will forever live in our hearts. Shonda departed this life on Sunday, July 7, 2013, at her home in Louisville, Kentucky. She leaves behind her mother, Rosalind Mack, her father, Kevin Garr, her siblings Rhonda McKenzie and Kevin Douglas Garr Jr., four nieces, five nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
