Shirley Lane was born on November 11, 1965 to the union of the late James A. Tentman and Fannie Mae of Harlan, Kentucky. Shirley's family moved to Cincinnati, Ohio in 1976, where she attended Cincinnati Public Schools. She grew up and started her own family. She loves family gatherings. She loved to cook and play cards. She enjoyed her family and friends, she loves babysitting her grandchildren. She loved helping people in any way that she could, she also helped her Aunt Anna run her home daycare center. Shirley leaves to cherish her memory: six siblings, Samuel lane, Linda Carter (Dennis), Clarence Jones, Charles E. Jones (Teresa), Napoleon Jones, Lisa Jones (Samuel), one aunt, Anna Seymore (Harry); one uncle Charlie Tentman (Edna); five children, Tommy Morris (April), Shawnika Brady (Diontye), LaShonda Brady, Marcus Lane who preceded her in death, Cordere Lane; ten grandchildren, Diaysha, Diaysha, Diontye, Dahmari, Amira, Marcus, Jr. (MJ), I'ziyona, Corde'ra, Camille, Cordero, Cordo; one special: Zontaelo Jones who shared a special bond that no one could break, they loved one another; two special nieces, Latosha Jones and Melissa Jones (Poon); one special cousin, Mary Harrow (Isaiah); and a host of many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Shirley will truly be missed. Visitation is from 9:30 am until 10:30 am, on Saturday, December 17, 2016, at the Walker Funeral Home - West End, 930 Findlay Street, Cincinnati (45214). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Baltimore Pike Cemetery.
