It is with profound sadness we announce the heavenly transition of Shirlena  Mathis, age 64, of Dayton, Ohio,  who entered eternal rest on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, in Dayton,  Ohio.   She was born on Thursday, July 28, 1960, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The gathering of family and friends is from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, on  Friday, May 16, 2025, at the Walker Funeral Home - Mt. Healthy Chapel, 7272 Hamilton, Cincinnati  (45231).   The memorial service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 3:00 pm.
