Shantee Markist Humphrey was born July 5, 1974 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Wanda Humphrey and Larry Johnson. Shantee was known as "Shawn" and also "Mac." Shawn was a very happy, funny and family-oriented person. Shawn loved to entertain, chill with family and friends. He was comical and loved to joke around.

Shawn was educated and attended Western Hills School District. He was self-employed and a jack of all trades - truly a hard worker. Shawn loved to dress and he dressed to impress. On May 17, God called him home to Rest in Peace now may he rest in peace until we meet on the again on the other side we will miss you and love you.

Shawn is preceded in death by his parents Wanda Humphrey and Larry Johnson, two grandmothers, Hattie Humphrey and Grandma Johnson and a nephew Shawn "Monk' Humphrey.

He leaves behind a wife, Shannon Humphrey; two children, Chanize Hand and Shawn Gentry; two brothers, Larry Humphrey and Donell Humphrey; two sisters, Sylvia Sally and Nicole Hector; a special aunt known as" Aunt Shirley." He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, great-nephews, cousins and a special cousin Cortez Sally.

Visitation 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at Walker Funeral Home, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati (45206).  Funeral services will begin at 3:00 p.m.
