Shamariah Jacqueline Bennett was born December 7th, 1981 to Velinda Bennett and Earl Amos (deceased). She is the youngest sister out of four siblings. She was diagnosed with cancer in January of 2018. She lost her battle of metastasis colon cancer March 4th, 2018. Shamariah was only 36 years old. Shamariah is the mother of four children, Christoper Franklin Brown (19), Dadrien Raquon Brown (18), Alyssa Capri Bennett (11), and Noah Malik Bennett (9). Shamariah had a beautiful spirit and a jovial laughter that energized the whole room. Her warmth and loyal soul was touched by all who knew her. Shamariah rarely ever said no to what was asked of her. She genuinely helped her family through horrific struggles even when she was going through her own. Shamariah was an honest, humble, and dependable person and will be greatly missed. Shamariah was encouraged by the everlasting support of her two sisters and mother. Shamariah lost her father Earl Amos(deceased) eight years ago to atherosclerosis and he was only 56 years old. This was a very hard tragic event in her life where it was difficult for her to recover from. Shamariah really never got over her father's death because of the close relationship they once had. Shamariah is survived by her mother Velinda Bennett Johnson, brother Tyrone Green, and two sisters Charmaine Bennett and Reva Amos. She will leave her memory within her nephews, Daniel Mosley (22) Azariah Mosley (20) Shaheem Amos (20) Dicaprio Amos (19) Nehemiah Bennett (18) Gabriel Bennett (13) Tobias Price (11) and Tidus Price (9). She also leaves many many more aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation is from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm, on Friday, March 9, 2018, at the Walker Funerals & Cremations - Mt. Healthy, 7272 Hamilton Avenue , Mt. Healthy (45231). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 7:00 pm.
