Sedric is survived by Mother Yvette Cordell (Dennison) and Father, Fredrick D. Ward. Grandfather Jimmy Smith (Wilma) , Maternal Grandmother Sharon Thomas, Paternal Grandmother Dayrl Ward, Paternal Great Aunt Hazetta. His children, Vahsaan, Malachi, Josiah, Layla, Silas. His siblings, Natasha, Tamarra, Anita (Derrick), Leslie (Micah), Brianna, Kennedy, Mike, James, Jacob, Adam, Tania. And a host of nieces and nephews. Sedric received his GED, later receiving his barber's license, so that he could perform his craft as a highly skilled barber. Sedric's smile could light up a room. He really had an effect on anyone who came around him. He loved to tell jokes and had a laugh that was contagious. Since his birth, his mother planted seeds in him, always telling him about the Lord God, and early on in life, Sedric was saved and he knew and believed in Jesus Christ. Sedric loved his family, always checking up on them and seeing that they were well. He also LOVED his children so much, always praying for them and hoping they would go in the right direction. He was proud of his family's accomplishments and hoped that they would continue excelling. Although he's not here physically, he'll remain with us in our memories and our honoring him as a Father, Son, Brother, Cousin, and Friend. Sedric, "Sed", "Seddy", "Sedro", you will be missed. You have shown us the importance of valuing and cherishing family. Visitation is from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm, on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at the Restoration Church, 904 Vernon Drive, Dayton (45402).
