IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sarah Ann
Hill
June 11, 1950 – July 4, 2025
Sarah Ann Hill was born on June 11, 1950, to the loving union of Mr. Earnest Sr. and Mrs. Jaunita Foster in Pike County, Georgia, but spent most of her life in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Sarah was introduced to Christ and gave her life to Him at an early age, being baptized at New Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, which was eventually united with Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.
She received her formal education at Pike County Consolidated High School in Pike County.
Sarah was united in holy matrimony with Jerry Hill Sr. on September 13, 1973, in Cincinnati, Ohio. This union was blessed with two biological children and a host of extended children.
While in Cincinnati, Sarah worked at Jewish Hospital in a variety of positions—helping to deliver babies and serving as a surgical technician, just to name a few. She also continued her spiritual journey at Greater New Light but eventually became a faithful member of Overflow Ministries.
Throughout her life, she lived by one of her favorite passages of the Bible: Psalm 23.
Sarah was preceded in her transition from earthly sorrow to heavenly reward by her beloved husband, Jerry Hill Sr.; her son, Jerry Hill Jr.; her parents, Earnest Sr. and Jaunita Foster; and two of her brothers, Earnest Jr. and Charles.
She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Rico and Tony; her grandchildren, Daria "Chubbs" and Adrianna (who was definitely her favorite); and her great-granddaughter, Dakota "Olive."
She is also survived by her sisters, Annie Laura Foster, Ruth Favors, and Joanna Wilkins; two remaining best friends, Aunt Opal and Aunt Susie; a host of extended children including Tiron Jones and Orlando Jackson Sr.; and extended grandchildren: Paris Jones, Dior Jones, Ryan Kinnard Sr., Orlando Jackson Jr., Dontonio Jackson, Te'arrah Smith, Landon Jackson, Tyree Jackson, Terrell Jackson, Deshawn Jackson, and Deon Jackson.
She also leaves behind many in-laws, loved ones, family, and friends.
Visitation is from 9:00 am until 10:30 am, on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the Christ Temple Full Gospel Baptist Church, 2141 Williams Avenue, Norwood (45212). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 10:30 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.
Interment will follow at Vine Street Hill Cemetery.
