Mr. Sandy S Moore February 24, 1958 - March 8, 2023

Sandy S Moore, age 65, of Cincinnati, Ohio,  entered eternal rest on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, in Cincinnati,  Ohio.   He was born on February 24, 1958, in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late William Fleming Virgil Moore and the late Mary Francis Powell-Moore.  He spent most of his childhood with his siblings and grandparents. They grew up together for many years sharing a special bond.  When Sandy turned 13, he moved in with his aunt, Bobby Lackey.  No one knows when he named himself "Sam".

Sandy graduated from Withrow High School in 1977.  He later went on to join the Army National Guard, where he served from April 26, 1978 until his honorable discharge on April 1, 1982.

Sandy's most important thing in life was to raise his children and do a better job with his grandchildren.  He cherished his children and his grandchildren even more.  He loved the Bengals.  He loved to cook and spent plenty of time on the grill burning the meat.  He had a great sense of humor.  He loved to joke and make everyone around him smile.  He kept everyone laughing.  With all his integrity and pride, he was a loving and amazing father.

To cherish his memories he leaves behind his children, William, Kathy, Carol, Mary, Sandy Jr., Samuel, Carrie, Marco, Anastasia and lastly, Jessica; his grandchildren, Andrew, Kaden, Shania, Bobbie, Brianna, Aubrey, Choice, Chance, Anthony Jr., Holly, Marco Jr, Jerell, Liam, Raemar, Ryan, Ravae, Raevon, Arnell Jr, and Ar'King; siblings, Tony, Helen, James, Cecil, Charlotte, Evelyn Michelle; a host of many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, including Kathy, Diane, Margaret, Anthony Sr., Raven Johnson, Jamal Jones, and Arnell Humes Sr.

His late mother, Mary; father, William and brother, Virgil will guide him through his next journey.

Visitation is from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, on  Friday, March 24, 2023, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati  (45206).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 3:00 pm.

Interment will follow at Vine Street Hill on Friday, March 31, 2023 at 11:00 am.
