She was called home to be with the Lord and her family on Friday, February 7, 2014. Sandra attended Hughes High School. She would later graduate and take up Medical Assisting. She became a Medical Assistant at Dr. Gilliss's office. There she met her husband, Jerome Harden, Sr. They were married on July 14, 1990. Sandra went on to become a Pension Specialist at Fifth Third Bank, and worked there over 12 years. Sandra was an extraordinary aunt, sister and friend. With an open heart and loving arms, her light shined bright wherever she went. We will miss her bright smile and joyful laughter. She had so many loving ways, always looking for ways to help others, without question. Sandra is preceded in death by her parents, David Winston and Betty Mae Thompson. Sandra leaves to cherish her memory: four sisters, Joyce Welch, LaToya Welch, Marcia Bailey and Deborah (Raymond) Shy. Three brothers, David Bailey, Jermaine Brown and Brian Winston (Jerome Harden). She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
