Mr. Samuel Willie Allen McCrary was born June 7, 1951 to the late Sarah Ann McCrary and Jvan MrCrary Sr.  He was the eighth of ten children born to this union in Taylor, SC.

He joined Jubilee Baptist Church at the age of six.

He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1969.

He married Annie McCrary in 1971.  He had two daughters Maureen Leary and Texia(Bruce) Poindexter.  Five grandchildren - Natasha Agnew, Rodney Agnew, Devireo Seawright, Josiah Poindexter, and Makayla Poindexter and two great-grandchildren - Amara Rose Agnew and Dauanna Seawright.

He was preceded in death by his siblings: Lille Belle McCrary (William), Jvan McCrary Jr. (Joann), Norwood McCrary (Antoinette) and Shirley Ann McCrary.

He leaves to cherish his memory siblings Jennie Bennett (Neil), Carolyn Boyd (Charles), James McCrary (Indianola), Charles McCrary (Deborah), Thomas H. McCrary and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Will aka as Sam was always a loving and kind person who was always willing to help others.  He always had a smile on his face even toward the end of his life journey.  He lived the life he loved and loved the life he lived.  He will be missed.

Visitation is from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, on  Saturday, February 9, 2019, at the Walker Event Center, 3939 Reading Road, Cincinnati  (45229).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 3:00 pm.
