Salvatore (Sal, Sonny) Squillaci passed away on October 16, 2024.  A long-time resident of Newport, Kentucky, he was born on January 5, 1937, the youngest of four children to Domenico and Grace (Lipari) in Chicago, Illinois.

Sal is survived by his wife, Polly Hollan, sons Eric and Steven, and brother Dominic (late Rosemarie) and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother Joseph (Mary Ann) and sister Rosalie Thompson (Jack).

Sal served in the US Marine Corps and traveled the world supporting printing operations. He loved animals, especially horses and owned a few over the years.  Sal spent his free time playing the harmonica and drawing his beloved horses.

A memorial service will be planned in the future.
