Sallie B. Sheffield Sallie B. Sheffield was born on August 2, 1929 in Warsaw, Georgia to the union of Charles and Annie Burnett Lindsey. Sallie transitioned to her heavenly home on Monday, November 16, 2015. Sallie accepted Christ at an early age. Her faith in God never wavered despite many years of illness. She attended Golden Leaf Baptist Church until becoming ill. Sallie was united in Holy Matrimony to Eddie L. Sheffield on December 13, 1948. To this union, they were blessed with three children. Sallie was preceded in death by her loving parents Charles and Annie Burnett Lindsey; her devoted sisters, Lula Lester and Queen Esther Sherman; her loving, loyal and devoted husband of 51 years Eddie L. Sheffield and her devoted son Edward "Buzz" Sheffield. Remaining to cherish her memory is her daughter Donita "Peaches" Dees and her son Norris "Kip" Sheffield and a host of relatives and friends. Services will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Corinthian Baptist Church, 772 Whittier Avenue, Cincinnati, OH. Reverend Dr. K. Z Smith is officiating. Visitation will be held at 10:00AM, funeral at 11:00AM. Interment will be at Spring Grove Cemetery.
