IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ruth
Noble
June 28, 2014 – September 29, 2014
Ruth Noble was born on June 28, 1948 in Montclair, New Jersey, to the (now late) Lucille Emanuel, and the (now late) Clarence Fields. Ruth was the fourth of seven children. Ruth departed this life on Monday, September 29, 2014. Ruth was educated in the public school system in Jacksonville, Florida. While living in Florida, Ruth was united in holy wedlock to Harold Noble. They relocated to and made their home in Cincinnati, Ohio in the early 1970's. Ruth was the loving mother of Angela Marie Noble, and the loving as well as the devoted grandmother of Christopher Murphy, Faith Maddox and Troy Lathan, Jr. Ruth was employed at the Children's Hospital of Cincinnati for over 10 years. She also worked for the Cincinnati Public School system for many years before retiring. Ruth loved to put on her Sunday Best clothes to go to church and praise the Lord. Her favorite saying was "Good Eats". When she said "Good Eats", you knew the food was really good. Her laugh was distinctive and contagious. You always knew when a letter was from Ruth Noble, before you opened it – The letter had "God Bless You" written all over it. Her favorite scripture was Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, in all thy ways acknowledge him and he will direct your paths - Her favorite song was, I" will Trust in the Lord". Sometime we would joke and say "What did Ruth say" (Smile). When Ruth talked about God and Prayed for you, we all knew what she was saying. A lifetime member of the True Holiness Church of God. Ruth joined approximately 25 years ago under the leadership of the (now late), Pastor Mary Pearl Roundtree. Ruth continued to excel under the leadership of Pastor Edward Lewis White until her health failed and she could no longer attend church. She was on the Mother Board, a Missionary, on the Usher Board and most recently taught Sunday school. Ruth really trusted in the Lord with all her heart.Prayer Warrior Ruth Noble was known worldwide as someone who could pray and would pray. Her praying voice was heard on local radio stations as well as all over the United States. Even though Ruth was well known, she was never too busy to pray for those right outside her door. She prayed on the local streets of Cincinnati, she prayed for her daughter and grandchildren. Ruth prayed for you and she prayed for me. A great praying voice has been silenced but we know that her prayers will continue to bless those she left behind. Ruth leaves to cherish her memories:Daughter, Angela Marie Noble, Bastrop, Louisiana; two grandsons: Christopher Murphy, Cincinnati, Ohio; Troy Lathan, Jr., Toledo, Ohio; granddaughter, Faith Maddox, Toledo, Ohio; one brother, Samuel King, Irvington, New Jersey; four sisters: Ella Brown (Reggie), Hillside, New Jersey; Johnnie M. Fields, Lopatcong Township, New Jersey; Sharlene Butler, Irvington, New Jersey; and Sharon (Rose) Cason, Cincinnati, Ohio; Five nephews, eight nieces, 10 great-nephews, and eight great-nieces. Ruth also leaves to cherish her memories, one special friend, Sister-in-Christ Janice Kelley, the True Holiness Church of God Family; along with a host of other relatives and friends. Loving mother Lucille, loving father Clarence, loving sister Georgianna, loving niece Hope, and (like a father) Willie, all predeceased Ruth. "Ruth", we miss you already, Angela, Christopher, Sam, Ella, Johnnie, Sharlene, and (Rose)
