Roy "AD" Tinsley was born to Clyde Tinsley and Mary Myrtle Willett on September 23 1943 in Morgan field Kentucky.

Roy spent most of his childhood in Morgan field Kentucky he was the Third oldest of nine children Robert, clyde, William, Joseph , Alaie,Henry, Cindy and Margaret, Before moving to Cincinnati,OH he served in the United States Air Force from 1963-1965. After leaving the service "AD" Traveled the world selling magazines for many years before settling down in Cincinnati.OH where he would meet his long life Partner of 30 plus year Stephanie Short better know as his "Honey"  "AD" was very know in the Cincinnati community from giving people bootlegs, Landscaping and delivering telephone books. Roy was the true definition of a  Hustler and did what ever he could to provide for his Family.

Roy was preceded in Death by his Mother, Father and Stephanie Short . AD leaves to cherish his brother Clyde and sister Cindy his two sons Kimani smith and Damon short Three Daughters Kinesia miles , Latawanda Short and Danielle Short a host of Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren , nieces and nephews.
