It is with deep sorrow and love that the family of Ross Stewart announce his passing on Monday May 4, 2026.

Ross was born to the late Frank Stewart and Odester Davis Price on March 26, 1949 in Aliquippa PA. Following his graduation from Aliquippa High School in 1969, he joined the United States Army where he was deployed to Vietnam and served his country with honor and courage.

Upon returning to the states, he worked for J&L Steel but later re-enlisted in the military until he received an honorable discharge as a Sgt in 1992. Ross relocated from Fort Knox KY to Cincinnati OH. His last place of employment before he retired was at Mitsubishi Electric Automotive America in Mason, OH.

He loved to watch basketball but not as much as his hometown team the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was known for his love of fine cars, sharp fashion and carrying himself with confidence. Beneath his strong presence was a man with a unique spirit who made an impression on those around him. Ross carried a personality that would light up a room and leave lasting memories with everyone he met.

As a disabled veteran, he endured many hardships throughout his life yet his story remains one of resilience, strength, and individuality. Today we choose to remember the good, acknowledge his service, and honor him.

He is preceded in death by both his parents and stepfather Henry Price; sister Lessie B Stewart Guerrir and; Brother-in Laws Roger Smith Sr and Furman Gist, and beloved grandson Jalen Love.He is survived by daughters Evonne (George) Tucker of Charlotte, NC and Emily Corinne Booth of Princeton IN; sons Michael Tucker of Rochester PA and Jason (Natasha) Stewart of Pittsburgh PA. Sisters Pauline Smith of Rochester PA and Francena Gist of Racine Wisconsin. 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and a long list of friends spanning throughout the country.

A private memorial service will be held for the family only in his hometown of Aliquippa PA.
