Rose Pittman was born on August 24, 1953, the eighth of nine children in Cinncinnati, OH to the late Edward Dubose and Mary Dubose. Rose received her Masters Degree from the University of Cincinnati in Clinical Social Work and later opened Revelation Autism to assist children. Rose has an entreprenurial spirit and has passed this on to her children and grand children along with her love of learning and travel. Rose spent most of her life working with children until she had health issues. Rose did not allow her health to interfere with her ability to enjoy life, she lived life to its fullest till her last day. Rose is preceded in death by her husband Dwight Pittman, her sisters Alfreda Bledsoe, Carolyn Dubose, and brother Eddie Dubose. Rose leaves behind three sons James Dubose, Lamont Dubose, Jonathan Pittman and daughter Kourtney Pittman; ten grand kids James Dubose, Jr., Deondre Dubose, Xavier Dubose, Corey Dubose, Myles Dubose, Brian Pruitt, Jr., Kyra Pruitt, Malaya Pittman, Aizen Piitman, and Athan Pittman; three great grand kids James Dubose, III, Kali Dubose, Nimyah Dubose; five siblings Alfred Dubose, Larry Dubose, Harvey Dubose, Marguerite Norman and Betty Dubose; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to cherish her memory. Visitation is from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm, on Saturday, May 27, 2017, at the Walker Funeral Home - North Avondale , 3939 Reading Road , Cincinnati (45229).
