Tooson, Sr., age 66, passed away on January 1, 2012. Survived by wife, Dr. Fay E. Tooson and son, Jeremy (Nicole Bernas) Harper. Sons, Ron Tooson, Travis Tooson and Sherard Tooson. Seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, one brother, John (Linda) Tooson; four sisters, Brenda (William) Baldwin, Pamela Summerlin, Michelle Tooson and Tracy (Brian) Poole. Four brothers-in-law, Fred (Mary) Haygood, Rick Haygood, Forrest Haygood and Terrace Haygood. Eight sisters-in-law, Virginia Summers, Scharlyn Mills, Freida (Calston) Simmons, Florence Haygood, Francine (Emanuel) Graham, Diann Haygood, Norma Haygood and Lovly Scott. One uncle, Otis (Stella) Tooson. Two Aunts, Florence Tooson and Dorothy Wells. Longtime friends, Bobby Caldwell and Edwin Ross. A host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. I miss your charm and personality in class but I so understand the need for you to be away. I hope your heart heals and your tears slow and when you are ready I am sure that the student in the Social Work School (especially me) will be glad to see you again.
