IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ronald R.
Roberts Jr.
October 6, 1960 – June 10, 2013
Ronald R. Roberts Jr., age 52, passed away June 10, 2013. Ronald Roosevelt Roberts, Jr. affectionately known as Ron was born on October 6, 1960 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Ronald Roosevelt Roberts, Sr. and Norma Jean Satterwhite, who later married then divorced. He was baptized at Truth Tabernacle Church at a very young age. Ronald was a 1978 graduate of Woodward High School. Most of his life was spent enjoying baseball, friends, family and work. He was a fun loving man who liked to conserve his money but would give when needed. Ronald fought a good fight and departed this life to rest on June 10,2013. Ronald leaves his memories to be cherished by: his wife, Camille; his children, Ronald Roosevelt Roberts, III, Rhonda Roberts, Laron Roberts, Latanya Roberts, Ashley Spain, Shannon Spain and Kathy Spain; grandchildren, Destiny Roberts, Chelea Smith and Charmayn Smith; four brothers, Mitchell Lee Roberts, Terrance Reed, Lucian Roberts and James Roberts; five sisters, Christine Roberts, Lisa Roberts Bell, Phyllis Ann Roberts, Tina Roberts and Tonya Litman (Robert), a host of other relatives and friends. I Needed the Quiet I needed the quiet so He drew me aside, into the shadows where we could confide. Away from the bustle where all the day long, I hurried and worried when active and strong. I needed the quiet though a first, I rebelled, but gently, so gently my cross He upheld, and whispered so sweetly of spiritual things, though weakened in body, my spirit took wings, to heights never dreamed of when active and gay. He loved me so greatly, He drew me away. I needed the quiet. No prison my bed, but a beautiful valley of blessings instead. A place to grow richer in Jesus to hide. I needed the quiet so He drew me aside. Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., NEW MISSION MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH, 4809 Ravenna Street, Cincinnati (45227) with visitation from 9:00 a.m. until hour of service. Interment Vine Street Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Walker. www.HerbWalker.com.
