Ronald D.
Heines
February 22, 1941 — August 9, 2026
Florence, KY
It is with profound sadness that we announce the heavenly transition of Ronald D. Heines, age 85, a proud native of Cincinnati, Ohio, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, August 9, 2026, in Florence, Kentucky. He was a man whose life was defined by family, ambition, adventure, and unwavering principles.
He was born on Saturday, February 22, 1941, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Florence Bloom Heines and Bernie Heines. Ronald grew into a respected salesman and entrepreneur, building a career through determination, hard work, and an instinct for opportunity. He carried himself with high standards and strong morals, always believing in doing things the right way.
Ronald was also an avid race car driver and a well-known figure in the world of dirt track racing. Behind the wheel, he was competitive, fearless, and passionate. Racing was more than a hobby—it was a part of who he was and a community where he earned the respect and admiration of many.
He was a man who could move comfortably in high society, yet he was never afraid of the gutter. Ronald knew how to talk to anyone, from the most distinguished company to the everyday person. He never forgot where he came from, and he never allowed status or success to change the man he was.
A world traveler, Ronald experienced life far beyond Cincinnati, visiting places around the globe and collecting stories, friendships, and memories along the way. Yet for all the places he went and all he accomplished, his greatest pride was always his family.
Ronald was a devoted husband to his wife, Trina Heines, a loving father, a proud grandfather, and a great-grandfather. His family was his greatest legacy, and the values he lived by—strength, loyalty, integrity, perseverance, and love—will continue through the generations.
Ronald D. Heines leaves behind a life that was anything but ordinary. He was a businessman, entrepreneur, racer, traveler, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He lived boldly, loved deeply, and stood firmly by his principles.
His life was lived on his own terms—with courage, class, and character. He will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and never forgotten.
No funeral or memorial service is immediately planned. The family will notify loved ones in the future when a service is scheduled.
