It is with profound sadness we announce the heavenly transition of Roger  Owensby Sr., age 74, of Bath, North Carolina,  who entered eternal rest on Saturday, November 30, 2024, in Bath,  North Carolina.   He was born on Friday, July 21, 1950, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Visitation is from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm, on  Thursday, December 12, 2024, at the New Prospect Baptist Church, 1580 Summit Road, Cincinnati  (45237).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 12:00 pm. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy he leaves behind.
