Robin Thomas Broadnax was born May 9, 1956 to Levoyd and Elizabeth L. Thomas in Dayton, Ohio. She departed this earthly life on September 20, 2021. Robin accepted Christ at age 12 and was baptised at the St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church in Dayton, Ohio, where she was a member of the Junior Choir.

In 1974, Robin graduated from Patterson Cooperative High School. After high school she attended Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.

She married Robert S. Broadnax in December, 1978 and moved to Cincinnati, Ohio. She joined the Greater New Hope Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School, was a Choir member and served as a Deaconess.

She was employed by The Kenner Toy Company and The University of Cincinnati.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Ashley, her parents, Levoyd, Sr. and Elizabeth L. Thomas and her brother, Levoyd Thomas, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 42 years, Robert, her daughter Amber (Allen), her son, Adrian. Her sisters, Gayle and Bethenna and her grandsons, Isaiah, Houston, Asa and Ari. And a host of aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at the Greater New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 3655 Harvey Avenue, Cincinnati  (45229).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Walnut Hills Cemetery, 3117 Victory Parkway, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206.

In keeping with CDC Covid19 Guidelines, we encourage those who are not fully vaccinated to wear a mask.
