Roberta Marie Cunningham, age 73, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2019 in Cincinnati ,  Ohio.   She was born  April 23, 1945 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Mrs. Roberta Marie (Barker) Cunningham, loving wife of Mr. Jimmy Cunningham.  Mrs. Roberta Cunningham was born April 23, 1945 at General Hospital to Mr. Verte Barker and Mrs. Roberta (Smith) Barker who preceded her in death. She departed this life on March 29, 2019 at Jewish Hospital. She leaves to cherish her husband Mr. Jimmy Cunningham 49 years of marriage.

She was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, neighborhood grandmother and friend. She had a relationship with God and loved Church. She was a long-time member at 2nd Baptist Church of Rossmoyne. She was very active in the church and raised all of her children in the church. She always said "You have to trust in God" and "God is good".

She was a wonderful mother to 5 children, 3 daughters and 2 sons, Mr. Charles Barker, Mr. Michael Cunningham (Lisa), Ms. Charlotte Barker, Shanise Pressley (Vincent), Denise Holmes (Charles); 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

She worked and retired from Siemens Automotive in Norwood for 38 years, working her way up from a receptionist to a benefits coordinator.

She had 7 siblings; 4 sisters and 3 brothers, Evangelist Jeanella Walker, Mrs. Leona Marie Upshaw, Mrs. Mary Ann Barker, Mrs. Ella Mae Wood, Mr. John Thomas Barker, Mr. Vertie Barker and Mr. Alfred Barker who preceded her in death. She leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and very special friends

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Saturday, April 6, 2019, at the Walker-Life Celebration Center-McMILLAN STREET CHAPEL, 1025 E. McMillan Street , Cincinnati  (45206).  The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Vine Street Hill Cemetery, 3701 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220.
