Robert Earl Rutherford was born on August 25, 1953 in Lexington, Kentucky to Paty Ruth Taylor (Brown) and the late Thomas E. Rutherford. He grew up in Wooden Terrace and attended Hughes High School. On November 5, 1983, Robert wed his devoted wife of 33 years, Deborah Rutherford. He accepted Christ at an early age. He attended New Vision Missionary Baptist Church, then attended Beloved Community Church. He was a dedicated employee of The Home Depot. Robert loved his family and friends. He loved being creative, music, fellowship, fishing, reading, singing and dancing. He especially loved spending time with his grandsons. He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife Debbie; mother, Patsy Ruth; four children, Robert Dula, Robin Childress, Rodriquez, Amberly Rutherford; and Anna Marie Rutherford; grandsons, Jaden Rutherford and Sean Rashad II. Five siblings, Dale Rutherford, Steve Rutherford, Cynthia Armstrong, Donald Rutherford, and Marsha Rutherford. Robert devoted his life to helping and caring for family and friends. Robert Earl Rutherford, age 61, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2014, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born August 25, 1953 in Lexington, Kentucky.
