Robert (RB) Robinson was born in Marks, Mississippi on January 21, 1946 to the late Volman and Bessie Robinson.

RB moved to Cincinnati when he was 7 years old.  He attended Lincoln Heights Elementary and graduated from High School in 1963.  He played basketball and bragged about being a "Afelict" and a star basketball player winning several trophies.

RB married Willa West in 1985 and was a loving husband until her death in 2014.

RB worked for National Distillers twelve years.  Afterward leaving National Distillers, he drove Metro Access Bus.  He received awards for being an outstanding worker, always friendly and smiling.  He had perfect attendance receiving a reception in his honor and a humanitarian award.  RB retired early and cared for Willa until her death.

RB leave to cherish his memory his son Timothy Lyles, his sisters Ethel Davis of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Pearlie Mae Winfield of Chicago, Illinois and his brother Volman Jr. (Jacqueline) Robinson of Cincinnati, Ohio, a niece he raised Lisa West, a friend who stuck by him like a brother James Miller, only uncle Aaron Brown (100 years old) of San Antonio, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

RB was preceded in death by his sisters Elizabeth, Priscilla, Mozella, Rutha; and his brothers Percy, Howard, Jimmy.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:30 am, on  Monday, October 28, 2019, at the Ebenezer Second Baptist Church, 10054 Dixie Court, Lincoln Heights  (45215).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:30 am. Pastor Brandon McIntosh will officiate.

Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, 11200 Princeton Pike, Springdale, Ohio 45246.
