TO VIEW / PRINT / DOWNLOAD FUNERAL PROGRAM https://www.scribd.com/doc/280456960/Robert-Eursey-Reid-Funeral-Program Robert Eursey Reid was born August 4, 1938 to Alberta Coston (Carter) and James Reid, both preceded him in death along with his wife, Ernestine Reid; two grandchildren, Jeffrey Gardner and Tiara Thompson. Robert grew up in Cumminsville, Ohio, where he was known as Buster in his younger days. He attended Garfield Elementary and went on to attend and graduated from Hughes High School. Robert served in the United States Air Force as an Airplane Mechanic. He received an Honorable Discharge and was employed at Ford Motor Company for over 40 years. Robert loved the outdoors, he managed several baseball teams. One year his kid team didn't win, he gave them trophies anyway. He loved working on cars, always willing to help others in need. Cooking was another favorite pass time thing for him, his famous Chocolate Cakes and Chess Pies. Everybody who meant and knew him loved him. He always had a big cheerful smile. Northside Community especially Monterey Court loved Mr. Reid and he will truly be missed. He leaves to cherish his memory: sons, Dwayne Robert Reid, Kevin, Courtney Darren Morgan; two daughters, Sharon and Karen Morgan; 14 grandchildren and a host of cousins and friends. Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Saturday, September 12, 2015, at the First Baptist Church of Cumminsville, 3640 Roll Avenue, Cincinnati (45223). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Interment is in United American Cemetery at Cincinnati, Ohio.
