Robert Lee Calhoun known as Patrick was born on December 7, 1964 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Charles Edward Burton and Lorette Burton. Patrick was born and raised downtown Over the Rhine, where he was well known and loved.

Patrick went to Robert A. Taft Highschool and graduated in 1983. After graduating high school he pursed his cooking career and worked as a chef in numerous restaurants throughout Cincinnati for 43 years. Patrick was the life of the party and would out dance anyone. He loved all types of music and sports such as softball, tennis, shooting pool, playing horse shoe and football. He was a die hard Washington Commanders fan. Patrick was a hardworking and caring (if he dealt with you like that) no nonsense, straight to the point kind of man that didn’t play about his daughters and being a dad was something he never took lightly.

He was preceded in death by his mother Lorette and two siblings Ketha and Charles Burton.

Patrick leaves to cherish his memory: His father Charles Burton; Two daughters LaShoan Renee Dunlap and Precious Patrice Reed; Six grandkids, Miracle Spikes, Davion Sullivan, Ameerah and Ahmore Bonilla and Dante Rowland. One sibling brother, Emerson(Jaqulyn) Calhoun, a host of nieces, nephews and his best friend Marcus.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati (45206). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 3:00 pm. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy he leaves behind.
