On December 26th, 2021, Robert Harden Jr. passed away peacefully surrounded by his two daughters.  He was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he lived and worked.  Robert was a student at Aiken Highschool and if you allowed him tell it he was the sharpest of them all back in the day. From working at the Crown Plaza to Xavier University's Food Service, he had a deep passion for the hospitality industry. He retired from Xavier University but remained an active worker there. He always said "One thing imma have is a JOB!"

He was laid back, supportive, funny, caring, and a tireless worker. His favorite things to do were watch sports, cook, read, watch movies, crack jokes, and take good naps. Most people say he was one of the silliest people ever and always spread a good laugh.

His two daughters, La'Tanaya Kemp and Jashmine Harden, were his greatest joys in life. To him, they were both an extension of his heart. He leaves behind grandchildren such as La'Manuel Kemp, Jeremiah Ragsdale, Genesis Kemp, and Destiny Kemp, and among many others.  Robert was the oldest child out of his two siblings. Throughout Robert's life, he was also close friends to Alvin Merritt, Delaney Williams, and Lonnie Calaway. If you wanted to find Robert all you had to do was call Delaney.

He was predeceased by his father, Robert Harden, and mother, Cheryl Harden. The following are left to cherish his memory: La'Tanya Kemp, Jashmine Harden (daughters), La'Manuel Kemp, Jeremiah Ragsdale, Genesis Kemp, Destiny Kemp, Michael, Daniel  (the grandchildren), La'Tanya's siblings, Jashmine's siblings, Duane, Gregory, Lawrence Hill (first cousins) and Eliane Harden (spouse) .

Visitation is from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, on  Saturday, January 22, 2022, at the Walker Event Center, 3939 Reading Road (Corner of Reading and Paddock), Cincinnati  (45229).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 3:00 pm.
