Robert Bryant, age 70, passed away December 21, 2013. He was born February 2, 1943. He fell asleep in death December 21, 2013. Robert, known as Bobby to close family, was a quiet mild tempered and loving uncle and brother. He stayed to himself a lot, but always open to discussions of debate with good conversations always. He read the newspaper everyday, listened to news radio and sports. 'Baseball favorite'! He liked old movies that he and his mom Theresa watched all the time before her death. Robert never married, had no children, but he had a host of nieces and nephews that he cherished a lot. Robert looked after his mom Theresa to the best of his ability along with other siblings. Mom (Theresa) was his best friend and wanted so much in life for him until her day of departing this life. Robert had some difficulties along the way in his life, but he still was a wonderful person to have known He was close to his sisters and brothers. They will miss him dearly. I, Larresa (niece Reedy), spent a lot of time with my 'Unky' (smile)! He shared in looking after me from youth on up. No one may have understood him like I did, but to me he was an alright uncle despite decisions he made in his life, I still was always happy to know he was okay. Robert had a long battle with cancer and lost on December 21, 2013. We will miss him. I know that my heavenly father Jehovah has a place and time for the day of his resurrection. I hope and pray that I'm granted the privilege to welcome him back to life again soon. Act 24:15 'And I have the hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.' Theresa Bryant (mother), John Edwards Stevenson (father), Larry Bryant (brother), Tervon Newman and Johnathan Reynolds Jr. (nephews) preceded him in death. He leaves behind two sisters, Joyce Blake and Linda Reynolds; brother, Donald Anderson; nieces, Larresa Lee, Crystal McCray and Lequitta Reynolds. A host of great nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
