Robert Beamon, Sr. passed away May 8, 2014. He was born in Cincinnati, OH on October 13, 1954. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, May 16 at 11:00am at Ebenezer Second Baptist Church, 10054 Dixie, Lincoln Heights, 45215 with the visitation being held from 10-11:00 am. Interment Baltimore Pike Cemetery. Funeral services have been entrusted to Walker Funeral Home-Walnut Hills Chapel, 1025 E. McMillan, Cincinnati, 45206. Call 513-251-6200 for additional information. Please share your special messages with the Beamon family at www.HerbWalker.com Robert Beamon Sr. was born to the proud parents of James Beamon and Dorothy Baskin on October 31, 1954 in Cincinnati Ohio. He departed this life on May 8, 2014 at University Hospital. Robert attended Woodward High School, in Bond Hill. After his high school days, Robert started working in the Construction field, doing concrete work. Afterwards he worked at Dave's Fish Market in Bond Hill, where he was well known as "Foots." Robert confessed Christ and join the New St. John Baptist church, where he was baptized under the leadership of Pastor James Pankey. Robert Beamon united in Holy Matrimony to India Silvers in that union one child was born. He later united to Barbara Faulk, in that union three children one born. After many years of being married to Barbara, he later united to Vicky Combs who preceded him in death. He was a proud father of four beautiful children, Kayla Beamon, Helen Beamon-Jones, Robert Beamon Jr. and Desiree Beamon. He loved his children greatly. He made sure they were never without and would walk miles for his children. Whether it was for food or whatever, he made sure they ate and had what they needed. With his four children he was blessed to have six grandchildren. His focus was to always keep a smile on their face and to show them perfect love. He enjoyed entertaining the Grandchildren, whether it was joking, watching movies, or giving them snacks; especially chocolate, then he would send them home to their parents. He taught his Grandchildren the true meaning of love. There wasn't anything in this world that he wouldn't do for his children or grandchildren. He enjoyed family gatherings with his Father, Mother, Sister, Brothers, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Everyone loved Robert dearly, he was everyone's favorite. He was the lime light of every party. He will be missed for his sense of humor, singing, and dancing. Although he's gone, he will never be forgotten, He leave to cherish his memories Four children: Kayla Beamon, Helen Beamon–Jones (Terrance) his son-in-law, Robert Beamon Jr. (Timyla) his daughter-in-law, and Desiree Beamon; six grandchildren, Taniyah Jones, Terrance Jones, Robert Beamon lll, Ra'myiah Beamon, Cameron and Arizona Kelly; eight brothers and sisters, Theresa Mills (Wayne), Doris Beamon, James Beamon, John Beamon, Deidre Beamon, Teallen Price, Markeisha (Jasmine) Beamon, Kaneisha (Geneva) Beamon. A host of Many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, In-Laws, and many special friends.
