Robert B. Rothwell, 86, of Lynx, Ohio died Saturday, June 20, 2015 at his home. He was born April 4, 1929 in Lynx. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Rothwell; parents, Alva and Mae (Taylor) Rothwell and three brothers: Donald, Virgil and Rodney Rothwell.

He is survived by one daughter, Mary (Greg Sebastian) Williams of Peebles; five sons: Steve (Brenda) Rothwell, Larry (Debbie) Rothwell, Greg (Helen) Rothwell, Robert Rothwell and Cameron (LaDonna) Rothwell, all of Lynx; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; one sister, Agnes Taylor of Eagle Creek Nursing Center in West Union, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Robert was a very loving man that loved his family and going outdoors. He loved going to church with his wife, Phyllis, where he played the French harp while she sang. He is finally at peace, and is with the love of his life watching over us all each day. He is gone but will never be forgotten, and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

The visitation is Tuesday, June 23, 2015 from 3 until 5 p.m. at Mt. Armenia Church in Lynx. The funeral is at 5 p.m. Pastor Tom Brown will officiate.

The interment is at Mt. Armenia Cemetery.
