Rita Jo Mallott, age 72, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2025, in Brookside Nursing Home.  Rita Jo was born on Wednesday, June 17, 1953, to the late Opal and Robert Phipps.  She married the love of her life, Terry Mallott on December 24, 1982 and welcomed her beloved son, Charlie into this world on July 4, 1983.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Mallott; sisters, Doris Jarmin, Wanda Goins, and Judy Stuparitz.

Rita Jo is survived by her son, Charlie (Stacy) of Cincinnati, Ohio; sisters, Violet Travis (Bill) of Florence, Kentucky and Janet Riddle (Jerry) of Union, Kentucky; brother, Robert Phipps (Barbara) of Dublin, Georgia; six grandchildren, who she loved dearly Terry, Charles, Brianna, Jaydn, Madison and Alexis; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends, including many at Brookside Nursing Home.

No memorial service is immediately planned.  The family will notify loved ones in the future when a service is scheduled.
