Rita Jean Holloway, born on October 17, 1960, was the first daughter of Barbara Jean and Timothy Holloway. She was known for her kind and gentle spirit, always putting others before herself. She created a welcoming space for her loved ones and family, offering support regardless of the circumstances, and positively impacting countless lives. Her willingness to help others reflected her belief that character and actions mattered most.

Rita's memory is honored by her son, Darrell Holloway, and her stepson, Corry Brown. She is also survived by her siblings: Bernadine Moore, William Holloway, Ava Holloway, Laveeta Holloway, and Joseph Holloway. In addition, her legacy extends through her nephew, Troy Marquis Moore, and a host of other nieces and nephews.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Walker Event Center, 3939 Reading Road (Corner of Reading and Paddock), Cincinnati  (45229).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation,  beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.

She will be laid to rest at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4251 Spring Grove Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45232
