Ril Montiethe Beatty III, age 37, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2016, in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Ril was born December 23, 1979 in Dayton, Ohio.  Ril was born to Ril Montiethe Beatty, Jr. and Debbie Teresa Britton.  Ril grew up in Dayton, Ohio with his father, step-mother, Constance Carr Beatty and sister, Tawanda Marie Beatty.  Ril believed and committed his life at an early age to Christ, and was baptized at St. Paul AME Zion Church in Dayton, Ohio.

Ril graduated from Belmont High School in 1998.  At just 17 years old with parent permission Ril enrolled in the National Guard.  Ultimately, Ril served a total of 10 years and 9 months in the Army National Guard, and received an honorable discharged.  Ril began his educational career at Tuskegee University but ultimately ended up completing his Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership and Masters of Science in Counseling from Wright State University.  Prior to his death, Ril began pursuing his Ph.D in Interdisciplinary Studies at Union Institute & University.  Ril was passionate about many things including his desire to serve others through joining Alpha Phi Alpha, Fraternity Incorporated. I'm 2004, Ril met the love of his life Rosalyn. They got married in 2006 and welcomed their first daughter in 2009, Matilyn, followed by their second daughter in 2013, Gwendolyn .  Anyone that knew Ril, knew how much he loved "The Lyns" (Rosalyn, Matilyn and Gwendolyn).  They were all he could talk about with anyone he encountered.  A chance meeting online became the greatest love story of all to create their family.

Ril was preceeded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ril Beatty Sr. and, Darlena Beatty; and uncle, Rommel Beatty.  Ril leaved to cherish his memories: wife, Rosalyn Yvette Brown Beatty of Cincinnati, Ohio; daughters, Matilyn Rose Beatty and Gwendolyn Marie Beatty, Cincinnati Ohio; mother, Debbie Teresa Britton, Cleveland, Ohio, father and step-mother, Ril and Constance Beatty, Dayton, Ohio;  Sister, Tawanda Marie Beatty, Cleveland, OhioGrandparents, William and Gladys Britton, Atlanta, Georgia, Ethel Carr, Dayton, Ohio; along with a host of cousins, aunts, uncle and family in law (and love) and friends. Visitation is from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Friday, December 30, 2016 at the Walker Funeral Home-Mt. Healthy Chapel, 7272 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati 45231.
