Ricky Freeman was born on December 25, 1960, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Thelma Freeman and Louis Freeman Sr. Ricky peacefully passed away on May 20, 2026.

Ricky loved to dance, eat, and have fun with his family and friends. Ricky was the life of the party.

Ricky was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Freeman; father, Louis Freeman Sr.; brothers, Louis Freeman Jr., Michael (Denise) Freeman, and George Freeman; and sisters, Connie Freeman, Darlene White, and Deborah Freeman.

Ricky is survived by his sisters, Patricia (Willie) Huff, Regina Freeman and Geraldine Gentry; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Friday, June 19, 2026, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati (45206). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy he leaves behind.

He will be laid to rest at Vine Street Hill Cemetery, 3701 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220.
