Rickey Ronald Turner entered eternal rest October 18, 2013. Born August 22, 1956 in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of the late Broshes Turner, Jr. and Rozella Annalee Moore. Rickey was a graduate of Taft High School where he excelled in the performing arts. . Rickey received his formal education through the Cincinnati Public School system where he excelled in the performing arts. He graduated from Taft High School. Rickey served in the Army where he was a member of the Army Band. He coached little league football and basketball for the Neighborhood House. He also coached baseball for Sands Elementary. Rickey accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. He served faithfully as a Deacon at Greater Faith Ministries Church Of God In Christ under Pastor Anthony Hudson. He did what he could to support religious at various churches because he loved God. His favorite songs where 'Oh Sinner Man Where You Going to Run To' and 'Deep Down In My Heart.' In his leisure, he enjoyed singing and spending time with son and grandchildren. Rickey was preceded in death by his father and mother He leaves to cherish his memory one sister, Sherrie (Albert) Towns, one brother, Isaac Turner, son, Donte' Turner, one granddaughter Aniah. and two grandsons Jakob and Donte' Jr., one aunt Evelyn Stevens, three uncles Walter Moore, Aquil Rahmaah and David Tolliver, two nephews Richard and Erick Reed three great nephews, 5 great nieces, one great great nephew. a host of cousins and friends, - Acknowledgement - The family of Rickey Turner acknowledges with sincere appreciation every kindness and expression of love shown in thought, word and deed. A special THANK YOU to Judy Toney from Sherrie and Isaac for all she did for their Mom and their brother. We love you all and thank you very much. - Scripture - For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing II Timothy 4: 6-8
