Rickey Donnelle Johnson was born on November 16, 1966, to Ezekiel Paige (Deceased) and Yvonne Johnson. Rickey was a loving husband to Renee Denise Johnson and father to Jasmine Latise King, Rickey Donnelle Johnson, Jr. (RJ) and Raven Denise Johnson (Deceased). Rickey truly loved his wife and children. He was a dedicated husband for seventeen years. He was educated in the Chatham County School graduating from Jordan-Matthews High School in the class of 1985. He matriculated at North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, North Carolina graduating Magnum Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Technology in 1989. Upon graduating from NCA&T, Rickey began his career at The Ford Motor Company. He was a well-respected and highly valued employee for over twenty-seven years. A valuable team member, Rickey launched the 10-Speed Transmission for the new F-150. He also managed the $250 million future expansion at the Livonia Transmission Plant. For his many accomplishments, The Ford Motor Company proudly presented Rickey with the Henry Ford Technology Award. Rickey loved to play golf and looked forward to connecting with his friends on the golf course. He enjoyed traveling the world with his family vacationing on many cruise ships. He had a strong foundation in faith. Rickey was a faithful member of the Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church in Cincinnati, Ohio. After he relocated to Michigan, he quickly became an active member of Triumph Church in Northville, Michigan. Rickey valued family, education and his personal relationship with God. He accepted God's plan for his life on July 4, 2017, leaving many to cherish his legacy. Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Saturday, July 15, 2017, at the Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church , 9991 Wayne Ave, Lincoln Heights, Ohio (45215). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45232.
