Richard P. Wheeler, age 71, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2022.  He was born on July 27, 1951 to the late Edgar Thomas and Catherine Edna Wheeler.

A 1976 graduate of Washington University's Fine Art Master's program, Rich began teaching sculpture at Heron School of Art and Dennison University. He later moved to New York City, where he constructed trade show displays and pursued art making.  In 1991, with the birth of his son, he started Bellucci Wheeler Arts, an art and home restoration business that continues on today in Cicinnati.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Niki Bellucci Wheeler; son, Alek Spike Wheeler; brother, Edgar Thomas (Linda McKeldin) Wheeler; cousin, Virginia Jones; and many other relatives.

A memorial/celebration of life will be planned for 2023.
