The afternoon of June 28, 2020, Renee Dodds passed away. She was born October 3, 1954, to Gloria Bell Smith and Chester Martin French.

Renee grew up in a small town, Leighton in Alabama. She attended Colbert County High School with many family members and friends growing up. Renee was the baby girl of her five siblings. She was well known for talking mess, smiling, and dancing. Everyone who knew her loved her.

Renee Adams Tobert Dodds grew her wings to enter the gates of heaven to join her son, Marlin Donta Adams, leaving behind her two daughters, Ashley Tolbert-Reed (Lawrence Reed), Tammy Tolbert (Ronald Carter, Sr.); mother, Gloria Adams Smith; sisters, Gloria Loveless (Cleve Loveless), Peggy Douglas; brothers, Glen Adams, Gerald Smith; grandchildren, Jalen Hampton, Kariah Summerhill Thomas (Michael Thomas), Christopher Summerhill, Jr., Ayshalun Summerhilll, Deaveunce Summerhill, Jaden Tolbert; great-grandchildren, Michael Thomas III, Kamari Thomas; nieces, Danielle Davis (Alan Davis), Alyssa Davis, Alexis Davis, Michelle Sherman (Shawn Sherman); nephews, Jerry Douglas, Glen Adams, Jr. and Rashad Sherman; and several other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati  (45206).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 3:00 pm.
